Annual Salary £50-70k consisting of:

1. Basic Salary: £30-45k (depending on experience)

2. On Target Earnings: £20-25k OTE (paid quarterly, and cumulatively - if you miss your bonus one quarter you can make it back through the year)

Duties & Responsibilities

Two core functions, (Tax Advisor and Relationship Manager) supported by Directors, wider commercial and technical teams, and with external CPD:


  1. Tax Advisor: (i) Leading our Tax Panel advisory process, (ii) periodically updating our tax software (iii) and developing and updating new and existing tax assets.

  2. Relationship Manager: Commercial development of existing accountant relationships so they better utilise all five areas within our ecosystem.

  3. Both the above functions require (i) growing your advisor credentials across our client base by taking a digital first approach to customers through social media and (ii) collaborating closely and frequently with our internal customer success, marketing and technical tax teams to further innovate our products.


The Tax Advisor function of your role includes:


  • Developing an expert product and service understanding of five Diagnostax Ecosystem areas being:  Intaxicate, Tax Toolkits, Tax Diagnostics, Tax Advice Services and Tax Panel;

  • Development of the Tax Panel and its underlying assets – from templates to building relationships with new tax professionals;

  • Researching, analysing and interpreting changes in UK tax legislation, HMRC guidance.

  • Periodically updating tax diagnostic software after budgets and other legislative events.

  • Producing and developing new tax related assets such as toolkits and downloads area and for customers to utilise

  • Providing internal guidance to non-tax qualified team members.


The Relationship Manager function of your role includes:


  • Creating more value for accountancy customers by reviewing their desired business outcomes, and building a plan with appropriately identified objectives, stakeholders, milestones, risks and metrics needed to achieve them

  • Proactively meeting current Diagnostax Ecosystem subscription customers (99% of the time over Zoom) for 4 sessions per year to review performance to date, advocate and help them access and implement more value from the Diagnostax Ecosystem products and services

  • Strengthening accountancy client relationships by enhancing product, service and customer knowledge take up;

  • Proactively identifying refinements to improve the delivery of current services to Diagnostax Ecosystem customers.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum ATT qualified. Part qualified CTA candidates welcome.

  • Minimum 3Bs or above at A level (or equivalent)

  • Tax experience – minimum 2 years + consultancy led experience across the various taxes gained from industry or practice

  • Ability to work with software and other IT areas like Excel

  • Experience of working closely with accountants is desired but not essential

What you need to know

Reporting to:

Director team and all DTX’ers across the business.

Hours:

Full time – flexible working - you can work anywhere at any time (inc weekends) - subject to core hours on Mon-Fri for internal and external calls/meetings/collaboration

Location:

Remote, home working with option to work in co-working spaces for solo working, team collaborations and catch ups.


Our team is mostly North West England based with monthly in person meet ups (more regularly during probation period).


Also, ad hoc onsite visits to clients and partners and ad hoc attendance at industry events.
