At Diagnostax we have a vision, to universally change the way tax advice is delivered, making it accessible to all who need it.
But we want this change… not only for business owners and those with individual wealth but for all who are in need. Not even just for the people who can afford it, or those who are aware of it but for those who should have it.
That’s why we do what we do.
However, we recognise that our services don’t necessarily reach absolutely everyone who needs tax advice so we’re bridging that gap…..note clever link 😏
Bridge The Gap
We’re supporting Bridge The Gap, who fund tax charities TaxAid and Tax Help to provide free tax advice for people on low incomes who need professional advice – but can’t afford to pay for it. The work that Bridge The Gap does is often life changing, allowing people to get back on their feet by firstly resolving the immediate problem and secondly educating clients so that they can handle their own tax going forward.
At Bridge The Gap, they believe if tax were simpler, if people better understood their responsibilities, if HMRC always got it right first time, then the tax charities would not be needed.
We couldn’t agree more.
How we can help
Well, Bridge The Gap have a target to raise an extra £300,000 a year for the next five years, to be shared equally between the two charities: TaxAid and Tax Help.
The donations received, will help thousands of people who can’t afford valuable tax advice to:
bring their tax affairs up to date
pay only the right amount of tax, avoiding unfair life changing outcomes (such as bankruptcy based on estimated figures),
and understand how to manage their tax affairs in the future.
Throughout 2020 we’ve pledged to raise £10,000 to help fight their cause.
To hit this figure we will be doing all sorts of fundraising gigs including dance, there was always going to be dancing but we’re open to suggestions….the wackier the better!!
We’ll also be working with Bridge The Gap to see how we can lend our tax expertise through volunteering hours.
